The top five bands with the most online votes were: AJ Schubert, Howard, Learn to Fly, Little Boy Jr. and MugWump Specific. The five bands competed to play at Celebration in May. Check out the bands below to hear some of the music.

Because last semester's battle of the bands was such a big hit, The Verge and University Board are putting together another competition this month.

Voting in the battle will begin on April 1 at 2 p.m. and end on April 7 at 2 p.m. The top five bands will be announced in The Verge on April 10.

Those bands will play a show on Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m. at the 7th Street Underground. Audience members and judges will help decide two winners; those bands will be playing Pantherstock during the first week in May. Other bands playing include So Wrong and The Staff Blues Band.
