Tony Romo and Henry Domercant headline the five-member class set to be inducted into the 2009 Eastern Athletics Hall of Fame.

Former baseball player Sean Lyons, former wrestler Don Neece and friend of athletics Ed Corley will join Romo and Domercant.

The induction ceremony will take place surrounding the Panthers' Nov. 14 football game against Tennessee Martin.

Before he became the two-time Pro Bowl selection for the Dallas Cowboys, Romo (1999-2002) won the 2002 Walter Payton Award handed out to the nation's top Football Championship Subdivision player.

He was a three-time Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year and 2002 consensus first team All-American. He ranked first in NCAA passing efficiency in 2001 and second in 2000.

Domercant (2000-03) was one of the nation's top point producers as he helped lead Eastern to the 2001 NCAA Tournament.

He finished his career as the No. 1 all-time scoring leader in both the OVC and at Eastern. His 2,602 points ranks 30th all-time in NCAA history and he became only the 11th player to finish his career as a "top five" scorer in the nation three times. He was a three-time first team All-OVC honoree and two time National Association of Basketball Coaches' All-District selection. Domercant is currently playing professionally in Europe.

"It is truly an honor to be included alongside some of the great athletes to have worn a Panthers uniform," Domercant said by e-mail. "During my career at Eastern Illinois University, I was fortunate to have been surrounded by talented teammates and dedicated coaches who made me a better player and a better person. Some of my fondest memories are of playing in front of the home crowd at Lantz Arena, and of course, our trip to the NCAA Tourney in 2001. I will always be thankful to the EIU and Charleston communities for their continued support."
