Panther Brief: Men's soccer adds seven

Needing to replace an accomplished seven-member senior class, Eastern men's soccer head coach Adam Howarth announced Wednesday the signing of seven recruits who will join the Panthers in the fall.
Those signing National Letters of Intent to play at Eastern includes: Kyle Bullock (Champaign/Champaign Centennial), Alex Koch (Belleville/Belleville West), Trevor Kohlrus (Chatham/Parkland Community College), Jerry Maddi (Naperville/Naperville Central), Kendal Spurgin (Geneva/Geneva), Shailer Thomas (Bloomington/Bloomington) and Ryan Warren (Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty). Koch, Spurgin and Warren are all projected midfielders, Kohlrus is a defender, and Thomas is a goalkeeper. Bullock and Maddi could see action as either a midfielder or a forward.
