Campus Briefs: Opportunity to purchase textbooks now available

The textbooks issued to students may be purchased during regular business hours from now through March 31 at Textbook Rental Service. Textbook Rental's hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Bring textbooks at time of sale. No other opportunity will be available to purchase books this term. Job fair opportunities for education majors

Representatives from school districts across the U.S. will be on campus for the Mid-America Educators' Job Fair from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today in the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union. Some overseas teaching opportunities may also be available. Current students, faculty and alumni are invited to attend. Attendees should dress professionally and bring resumes. Deadline today for Prowl leader applications

The Prowl Programs is seeking 50 student leaders to be Prowl Leaders. Prowl Leaders guide and lead new students through their first weeks at Eastern. Applications are due today at Martin Luther King Jr. University Union, Room 1715. Additional information is available here.
