Campus Briefs: Memorial service for Price Thursday

A memorial service for Howard Price will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Buzzard Auditorium. Price, 65, was found dead Friday in his home.

A retired journalism professor, Price was a baseball expert and a devoted student of the game.

Price was born on July 22, 1943, in Newark, N.J.

Surviving him are his mother; one brother, Michael Price of Jackson, Mich.; and two sisters, Bunee Price Morrison of Jackson, Mich. and Joan Price Rahav of New York. Three nephews, three nieces, six great-nephews and three great-nieces also survive.
