Eastern administrators announced in November that they were beginning the plans to build a renewable energy center to replace the current steam plant. The $40 million project was put on hold later in the month, but administrators continue to meet with residents to discuss what the building will look like.

Anyway you slice this one we are going to be in deep trouble if we don't get on with becoming energy independent. Oil is finite. We are using oil globally at the rate of 2 X faster than new oil is being discovered. (Continued…)
