The Eastern swim teams had their three dual meet swim streak come to an end at Ray Padavon Pool on Saturday against Saint Louis University.

The women's team lost 130-113, the men's team lost 135-93.

Both teams finish the regular season with a dual-meet record of 4-6.

The win on Saturday gives the Saint Louis Billikens a sweep on the season series with Eastern after defeating both squads earlier in the season by a score of 122-102 on the women's side and 131-82 on the men's side.

Eastern head coach Matt Bos was pleased with the consistency of the swim times.

"Overall, we are right were we need to be with our swimming time," Bos said. "The guys side came out and performed a lot better than we did earlier in the season against SLU."

"The guys really competed and showed more intensity than what we saw from them early on in the season. On the women's side we were a little disappointed because I felt that we could have won this match."

Sophomore Matt Scaliatine was the only Eastern individual men's winner with a win in the 200-yard breaststroke and an in season-best time of 2 minutes, 9.03 seconds.

Sophomore Cody Showers, senior Elliot McGill, sophomore Tim Mathieu and senior Joe Ethington won in the 400-yard freestyle relay in a season best time of 3:14.28.

Eastern junior Laura Nilsen won the 200-yard individual medley in a season best time of 2:12.37. Nilsen also won in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:09.38.

Eastern senior Lauren Zillmer won the 100-yard freestyle (54.72), and freshman Story Pumphrey won the 50-yard freestyle (25.23). Senior Sheila Dugan also won the 200-yard breaststroke in a season best time of 2:28.10.

The Eastern women's swim team also picked up two relay victories.

Nilsen, Dugan, Pumphrey and junior Kellie Logterman, combined to win the 400-yard -medley relay in 4:03.04. The other relay team of Zillmer, Pumphrey, freshman Alex Green and sophomore Alyssa Lehman won the 400-yard freestyle relay with a season-best time of 3:40.31.

The Panthers will compete in the season-ending Summit League Championship, in Rochester, Mich., on Feb. 19-21.
