Panther Briefs: Track teams give strong showing

The Eastern men's and women's indoor track and field teams had a strong showing at the EIU Mega Meet on Saturday at Lantz Fieldhouse.
Junior Kandace Arnold won the 20-pound weight throw and extended her school record with a throw of 59 feet, 9.75 inches.
Junior Chandra Golden won the 60-meter hurdles and the 60-meter dash.
Red-shirt freshman Zye Boey won the 200-meter dash and was second in the 200-meter dash.
Swimming defeats Millikin
The Eastern men's and women's swimming teams both defeated Millikin on Saturday.
The men won 127-69, and the women won 137-53 as the Panthers won every event and relay.
