The reception starts at 3 p.m. in the Adult/Commuter Lounge on the third floor of the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union.
Snacks will be provided to nontraditional students in the Buzzard Hall Atrium from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Open house brings high school/transfer students to campus
Prospective students will attend the open house on campus today.
Complimentary lunches will be offered to the visitors, which will increase traffic in dining centers. Parking will be available to visitors in student and staff lots, increasing the number of cars in the lots.
This is the last open house this semester. In spring, open houses are scheduled for Feb. 18 and April 19.
Booth Library adjusts for Thanksgiving
Booth Library will be closed Saturday and Sunday for Thanksgiving Break.
The library will open from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Nov. 19 and 20, but will only be open to faculty on Nov. 21 if they contact the dean's office at 581-6061.
The library will remain closed from Nov. 22 to 24, resuming normal hours Nov. 25.
An author set to speak tonight in Buzzard Auditorium had to cancel because of a death in the family.
Candace Fleming, author of several children's books, was scheduled to speak but April Flood, from the department of early childhood education, said she canceled on Saturday.
Flood said the speech will be rescheduled, although a date has not been set.
