Eastern football played Southeast Missouri Saturday in Cape Girardeau, Mo. After a shaky first half, the Panthers' defense was able to shut down the Redhawks' offense. When SEMO fell behind and was forced to throw the ball, Eastern's defensive line was able to get more and more pressure on SEMO's quarterback. Eastern beat SEMO 31-16 after leading by one point at halftime.
