An electrical appliance near paper and plastic products caused the fire inside a concession stand at Charleston High School Thursday night. Charleston Fire Chief Kris Phipps said an appliance either overheated or malfunctioned. President Bill Perry denied the request to try and change the drinking age from 21 to 18. "I believe 21 is the appropriate age for the consumption of alcohol," Perry said.
